■Mead is an alcoholic beverage made by fermenting honey, water, and yeast.
It is said to have existed for over 10,000 years and is said to be the oldest alcoholic beverage known to mankind.
■We are particular about fermentation and use sake yeast, which is used in sake brewing.
■It has a deliberately not-too-sweet taste, so it can be enjoyed not only as an aperitif but also with food during a meal.
